Thanks for visiting the blog and posting a comment- I am very familiarized with the "Mixed Nuts Don't Crack" comp LP. Jerry's Kidz are actually NOT on it- the comp is all D.C.-area bands circa 1982. The always-great KBD Records blog posted it- follow this link:

There was also a comp tape released back then called "Mixed Nuts Don't Crack" and was a co-release between DSI and Dischord I believe. Jerry's Kidz are on this comp as well as United Mutation.

Hey man, this is unbeliveable. I didn't even knew that this tape existed. "Well Fed Society" is one of the best EPs I ever heaerd and now this - thank you very much for the upload!

There's another sleeve for this record, a crude photocopy with a post show crowd scene on it, sorry I don't have a scan handy.

Unfortunately, I do not have a vinyl copy of The Mel 7"- I only have mp3's that someone I know passed on to me. However, I would love to own a vinyl copy if you have any extra copies!
