New Posts Coming Soon!

I am back from another hiatus again (this time my last new posting- the Cleavers 45 - was 7 months ago!  Damn!!).  Most people have probably given up on me again and considered the site dead- can't blame em since my punk music blogs have new postings every other day so any hiatus longer than a month looks like your blog is done for.

Right when I was about to get back into the blog after the start of 2011, I decided to do the Hustle Up The Hancock stair climb in Chicago and started training for that.  So what little free time I had was already thinned out more ya hear.  But the stair climb was last Sunday the 27th so I can check that one off the list.

Let me say that nothing can pump you up more for some exercise/endurance activity than punk.  As I rode up Michigan Avenue to the Hancock Building, "I Lie" by Naked Raygun was blasting through the mini van speakers and that got me good and pumped.  Most foot races I've done over the years play total crap music- a particular favorite here in the Midwest is Van Hagar's dreadful "Right Now".  To hear that shit before a race demotivates me and gets me mad so having some raw tuneage going through my head helps drone out that pap.

Anyway, my first new item of business (being a Punk Business Manager and all) was to update my posting of the Recipients 7" from a few years ago.  I recently acquired a vinyl copy of the single which I was excited about so I updated the original posting with some nifty scans of the sleeve and labels as well as posting upgraded rips straight from vinyl:

I have a long queue of cool postings in the works, as always, and hopefully I can keep em coming at a (somewhat) regular pace.
