NEW POSTS COMING SOON!

Four months is a virtual eternity for music blogs not to have a posting, and people have probably given up on this blog since my last posting in July(!).  But rest assured that after a rough spell with life-related stuff that demanded my immediate attention, I am getting back on track with things including this blog.  I have some cool postings planned, some of which will include some unreleased KBD-type stuff that some of y'all may have never heard before.  And, by request, yes, some of them will be nice and wordy book-length postings- ha!

Until that time, dig on the below video of The Screamers circa 1978.  I am not on YouTube a lot, but this is one of the coolest things I've found on there.  Too bad so many other bands with synthesizers never sounded as evil and punk as The Screamers...

    Hey Uncle Tony ,
it was great to re-listen to THE INCLUSIONS´"Unamerican Activity",haven´t heard to it in awhile but the A-side alone catapulted it in my "esoteric circle of 4x wanted records". Never would have thought a Punk band with just acoustic guitars only... would make my day so much every time I would listen to it... The other song "Russian Youth" is even bit moodier, but not much worse, want to say: it´s almost -but ONLY almost- as good.
A Minnesotan scenester promised me a free-copy but honestly , I don´t give too much on that unless he would have a box or so , but not if he has to grab/buy one somewhere there ,where he lives...Anyway,the record being a 1980 one and the band repeatedly sung "Ronald Reagan" ! That is really worth an academic discussion - I mean that guy was elected NOV.80 as far as I recall, went into the WHITE HOUSE sometime in January 1981 and the band sung ALREADY about Rearan and certainly not in a positive way (were they prophets ?)
Members afterwards made an arty cassette
and hey,"UNAMERICAN ACTIVITY" would have been a better choice for the 2003
US-UNKNOWNS compilation LP "No One Left To Blame" than... the Canadian band the RESULT. Does anyone out there agree?
